I heard students who attend Tech college usually take courses for 4-6 years,, or they need to go summer teach every year,,is that right? I heard that the reason is there are sooo much classes students have to take,,,,

Nonsense. It all depends on your preparation and your major. You’re better off spending your summers responsibility research rather than going to summer teach.
If you show up with weak Math, and you’re not ready to take Freshman Calculus, and you want to major in Science or Engineering, then you won’t end in the normal time. Terrible thought!!
Some schools encourage Engineering students to stay for 5 years, then they give them a ME (Master of Engineering) degree, but that is a special case.
If you want to major in science or engineering, then you had better show up with a GOOD preparation in math, at least through an introduction to calculus. Even better, try to have more calculus so you can have an thought of what’s going on in advance in your freshman calculus course. The geeks in your calculus class are probably going to be very competitive, so you can use every advantage you can get.
Also, you should have a excellent preparation in chemistry and physics. Also have a excellent background in biology if you are taking into account biology, chemistry, or biochem as a major.
