I heard students who attend Tech college usually take courses for 4-6 years,, or they need to go summer teach every year,,is that right? I heard that the reason is there are sooo much classes students have to take,,,,

Well, it depends on the major. I’m applying to Georgia Tech, & im taking into account majoring in Biomedical Engineering. It takes 4 years to get my degree in it, but I also have the option to take 2 more years to get my masters degree in it. Some students choose to take the additional 2 years, and some don’t. Summer teach is only for those who want to take a class during the summer so that they won’t ‘forget’ the subject material. When you major in some type of engineering or other science at a Technical univeristy or college, there is usually alot of information to remember, which is why some ppl take summer teach. But, it is not required. The classes are generally science and math correlated, but depending on the major, you dont have to take any more or less classes than a normal college student
