In college will I need my computer for math?

Question by Senor Magoo: In college will I need my notebook for math?
Will a calculator be enough for college math courses?
I am not majoring in anything that involves math,so i plot to take the simplest math I can find.

As a college junior, I would certainly say that a notebook is not necessary for math courses, but, it can be useful. Every major college requires their students to take at least 2 years of calculus for any major. This is part of their general courses mostly taken during the freshman year. If you attend a large university, they often offer online math courses. This means that to study and take tests and quizes, you must use a notebook. But you can always just go to your campus notebook lab, which are mostly open 24 hours, 7 days a week. So to answer your question, a notebook is not necessary for math courses, but can be helpful sometimes and more convenient.
