Everyone is telling me that it doesn’t matter what you major in to become a lawyer. But I just keep thinking, if a corporate lawyer is caught up in business correlated issues, wouldn’t I need to take some business courses to get an thought of what its like?

    People are telling you incorrect. Mainly if you want to specialize in corporate law.

    You will do well to take business courses, and accounting courses. An understanding of business management and accounting are invaluable to an attorney practicing business law. Also study as much in this area contracts and regulatory agencies as you can.
