Question by Mailisa Marie<3: Which courses to take to become an IT specialist?
I’m already IC3 certified and am beginning a class for A+ Comptia certification in fall. By the side of the lines of college courses in Information Technology, which would be most beneficial for me to take?

I completed a 2 year course when I was in high teach. I am CompTIA’s A+, Network+, Security+, and CCNA certified. The certification that will get you in the door is the CCNA. It’s challenging and they offer a program called the Cisco Academy. I found out that the A+ only gets me a job with GeekSquad or Firedog. Network+ is excellent for troubleshooting network problems. CCNA is management of routers and LANs. An IT specialist is someone with an MCSE or an MCDST. These are Microsoft certifications of course.
Excellent luck and have fun!
