Question by luvmyfam: My notebook keeps popping up a warning screen correlated to reminiscence. Do I need to install more reminiscence on it?
I use this notebook alot. I take online college courses and exams. It constantly just freezes. I am forced to use the combo CTRL + ALT +DEL to get out of the freeze. Then a screen appears stating do I want to send an error message. I don’t know anything in this area the operating system on computers, but I do know how slow mine is!!! Just need a small help. Thankfulness in advance.
I have 448 MB of RAM. Is that way too small? How much RAM is best?
How do you buy RAM and install and is it cheaper than buying a whole new notebook?

Does the error message say something in this area Virtual Reminiscence? If it does that can be fixed if you have enough space on your hard drive. Windows uses space on the hard drive which is called Vitual Reminiscence. To make more of it, right click my notebook, click properties, click the advance tab click settings under the performance section, click the advanced tab, then at the underneath it has a Virtual Reminiscence Section click the button that says Change. Change it so it says 2046 mb click apply and ok. If you still get the error messege then you need to add more RAM to your notebook.
It had happened allot to my notebook too. It maybe mean that there are no more space for new files because of lack of reminiscence. I reckon you should start deleting some of your not useful files or folders to have more space. If this doesn’t work then I reckon you better see a notebook technician to avoid further distractions.
I hope my answer helps.
Go to a web site called:

There is a tool there that will analyze your notebook online and make recommendations. It will tell you the maximum amount of reminiscence your notebook can handle and what kind of modules to buy.
cool
I’d suggest you try out with Better Techs, I was having problems on my notebook, and they remoted in, worked with me on the issues, and did an extensive cleanup of my notebook, for a reasonable price. What was fantastic in this area it was I didn’t have to take the notebook in, or have some weirder come in my home.
