Question by : Can high school students taking college courses get a disabled veterans grant? and how?
I am the daughter of a service disabled veteran and I am trying to take a nursing class at my high school which is dual enrolled at a university but it cost about $ 500. Can I get a grant while i’m in high school? Please any information is helpful. ( I am a 17 year old junior)

    There are some states that have grants for college for Children of Veterans and/or Children of Veterans disabled during service… they differ by state

    and I don’t know if they apply for dual-enrollment classes

    why not contact the school’s financial aid office & ask them?

    It looks like Indiana, Kentucky & Michigan would be ideal for someone in your shoes as it relates to this type of grant
