Fascinating combo. This is a bit obscure but at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus the programmes in psychology and notebook science are in the same department.

Some universities in the US call this “human notebook interaction”, and it’s often a establishment program run by the psychology and the notebook science departments; sometimes also concerning art, as at Carnegie Mellon. I’ve also seen it listed as Human Factors Psychology, and Human Factors and Systems. In fact, often you’d simply major in psych, and one of the possible areas of focus would be human factors psych, so don’t forget to try out party psych departments.

I’ve seen programs in this field (and you’ll need to double try out this, because it’s been a while) at:
    - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
    - Carnegie Mellon
    - DePaul U
    - Virginia Tech
    - Purdue
    - Penn State
    - Georgia Tech
    - Embry Riddle
    - Indiana U
    - Iowa State
    - Wichita State
    - Northeastern
    - Northwestern
    - Arizona State
    - Catholic University of America
    - Clemson

Let me see if I can find a link, and I’ll edit.

ETA: Yes, I’ve found a link that may help. It lists grad programs in the field, and so at least it gives you a house to start. A teach with a grad program may have something to offer you on the undergrad level, so you can try out into each teach and see what they have. Link, below.
