A question about music schools/college?

Question by the_classifieds103: A question in this area music schools/college?
Name at least 10 PRESTIGIOUS music schools in the United States, preferably in the east coast. It would also be preferable if you list them according to their prestige (example, score of 1-10, 1 being the most prestigious, 10 being the least).
Afterwards,
Name 10 GOOD music schools with a degree of prestige but you KNOW is renowned for as long as proficient experience for those who want to major in music. Again, it’s preferable if you name schools located in the eastern coast of the United States. Yet again, it’s preferable to rank the schools.
I would appreciate it if you, yourself, have your own experience in this area at least one of the schools (not necessary if you list Julliards). If you recommend a teach based on its merit and acknowledgement amongst critics, teachers, musicians, pupils, and etc, please list a source to back yourself up.
FOR THE SECOND LIST, I’m basically asking for back-up music schools, but at least i know they’re GOOD. So please take that into consideration!!!!!!!
OK CHANGE OF PLANS. Sorry I’m ignorant and didn’t reckon there were 20 music schools in the east coast. Cut the list into 5 each and for the 1st list you can down it to 3 if you’d like. And sorry for full experience. i just want to know if it’s a “excellent” (standards of whether I should really give some consideration to it) for a musician wishing to endeavor a music profession.

Most of the most prestigious music (as in Western classical) schools are on the East coast because its quicker to Europe and tend to have a more European method of teaching/playing. I can’t really start making 2 lists of schools because I don’t reckon there really are 20 schools on the East coast that I can even reckon of. Anyways all of that is above and beyond the top…
You go to a music teach for the instructor. Preferably, you already know the instructor before and have met or had sample lessons. A excellent way of responsibility this is at summer festivals. The “full” experience of musical studies is debatable. I know lots of classmates who feel that keyboard class is a huge waste of time. A lot of the courses surrounding music do not necessarily turn you into a better musician directly and may or may not even be that helpful. The amount of playing/composing/studying/etc. you do is really up to you.
I hope this was helpful. Excellent luck.
What do you reckon? Answer below!
