You should be able to. First thing monday morning call a college admissions personnel and question them. In the mean time try out the site below and see what you can come up with.

I just want to say THANK YOU for going into this field. I have a relative that I like severely who has schizophrenia. He is responsibility well and is way above average on sucess, but my heart breaks for him never the less.

You will start with a 4 year degree in Psychology. How you apply yourself will be your pronouncement - clinical, research, etc. It sounds like your goal is a professional degree in which you will need a doctorate. In this case, you have much more to worry in this area than the few credits the 68X course may get you as an undergrad. You will first have to friend the college/university you plot to attend to establish if they will award credit for the specific military training you receive. They will use your AARTS transcript to make this determination. Don’t assume that because the ACE recommends credit that the college/university will give it to you. Most of the credit they recommend may not directly apply to the courses in your specific degree plot. Mental Health assistants usually have small to no college/vocational training required. The most valuable thing you will get from 68X is the experience.
