Question by Jenny: Can any Dental Assistants help me? Dental Assistant Certification?
I wanted to get a Dental Assistant Certification at my local Community College. The only problem is, is that they want you to be employed as a Dental Assistant in order to get into the program. I don’t know why this is?
I don’t know how to go in this area getting employers to hire me and tell them I’m willing to enroll in community college for certification. Any thoughts? I also have 3 months experience BUT lost my job last week on the basis that I was training and it wasn’t working out b.c I worked at a quick paced personnel. I was told I was better off to go elsewhere such as a smaller personnel to start out in. I know it is pretty overwhelming when your starting out in a huge personnel so I don’t know what to do?

I am an assistant and here in oklahoma u have to work in an personnel for 2 yrs before u can take the test. Most doctors dont care in this area certification. U may possibly question to be an imprison to gain experience instead of paying for teach
