Questions about Computer Science at University?

Hello. I’m 16, and I will be starting Sixth Form at teach in a few weeks, and I’m plotting on studying A-Level ICT/Law/Psychology by the side of with a further Level 3 ICT (Information Comm. Technology) course alongside it. Is this a excellent “background” for going into CompSci, taking into account they’re notebook correlated subjects?
Also. I heard CompSci is a very mathematics-orientated subject, is that right? Maths is one of my weakest subjects, yet I’m very interested in CompSci. If this is so, would it be wise to AS-Level Mathematics for a year in College with Sixth Form if I can work up my GCSE maths level to a B? (I’m not gonna be able to get a C this year, because of crap tutoring I’ve had over the past 2 years)
Also. Is it right that CompSci doesn’t have much of a job market due to the fact notebook correlated subjects are very well loved?
Does it matter what University I study it at?
I live in the UK, btw, just incase you’re unsure what I’m talking in this area a propos A-Levels/GCSE’s/etc.

Yes, notebook programming uses a lot of math, or more specially, logic. Algebra and equations are very vital in programming at least.
CompSci has a huge job market right now because it is well loved.
The best schools for notebook science will be Tech Universities if you’re really serious in this area it.

It doesn’t matter what university you study at, but if you’re aiming for a top university, your subjects aren’t suitable, you’d be better taking subjects like maths, further maths and physics, but these have a high maths content and if you don’t feel as if you may possibly do well in these subjects, you may struggle with notebook science, as it is maths based.
