Question by Olde: How hard would it be to take 3 university history courses AND the 11 week (12 hours a week) CELTA course?
CELTA is the ESL Instructor certification Cambridge University.

I know taking only 3 courses would leave me a lot of spare time that I feel I would be wasting. Is this too much to do CELTA at the same time?
Does the closing grade you get in CELTA matter much to anyone anywhere? If i mix my 3 other courses with my 3 nights a week of CELTA ; am i going to be so overloaded my marks will be affected?

I took CELTA in less than 5 weeks. That was the toughest 5 weeks of my life. Well, no life for 5 weeks, that was.

The closing grade you get in CELTA may make a difference in places where there is a competition for jobs. In a lot of house it won’t really matter.

That CELTA course I did was a very demanding course. I did English grammar when I was young; and I still found the course exhausting. It was like I was working non-stop all the time, Saturdays and Sundays included, reading and researching for the assignments, and preparing lessons plans for the classes I was going to teach.

What do you reckon? Answer below!
