The authoritative min GPA is a 2.0

But in reality, you would need at least a 2.5 GPA.

    Major does not really matter.

You don’t have had to have played any sports.

You just need a college degree, score well on te officer qualifying test and be physically fit.

    — I reckon first and foremost you have to question yourself if you may possibly be courageous under fire- there would be men and woman depending on you— secondly — I reckon you should question your self if you can reckon on your feet and second beable to reckon under pressure— when I was in the reserve forces Canada one of our sergeants had that poster, I can vaguely remember but not just so remember but it had a lame picture but the text said some thing to the effect , ” it is some times hard to remember the prime objective was to drain the swamp when you are up to your a-s in alligators ” .

gpa doesnt really matter min. 2.0 is pretty much it if your trying to go starit out of h.s. a high gpa 3.0+ plus being part of athletics try out out the marine corps website and look under the ”officers” category to get a officer advisors digit

    Experience is needed. Go enlisted.

  5. John D says:

being an officer is a privilege few have. your job is to serve the men under your mandate,(the enlisted). is listening to them and have respect for them. it has been said that leaders are not born, they are made. that’s half truth. you have to have that magic thing that makes you uncommon from the rest. Many reckon that with a degree you can become an officer. that’s not truth. with a degree you can TRY to become and officer.you will be screened and if you are a leader you will succeed.

best of lucks. and if you make it, listen to the NCOs
