Question by tatethegreat74: Does anyone know if it’s better to go to a traditional college or a job training college?
What will qualify you more for getting a excellent paying job with graduation? A college where you take your general courses and take the technical classes, or a college that right from the start gets you caught up in technical classes towards your job. Example: A University verses something like ITT technical institute college, Sullivan University, the commercials on T.V. that tell you that you train in that field and get a excellent job when you get out because you took classes towards that field? Which one is the better choice?

depends on what you want. A traditional college keeps your options more open in case you change your mind but if youre 100% you want to be in something like Automotive, Aeronautical engineering, etc. then a technical college is better since you will be better prepared and have more experience in the field you want to go to.

If you know what job you want, and it is one that a career training college would qualify you for, then that would be a pretty fantastic option. It’s usually quicker, more all ears, cheaper, and gets you a excellent-paying job.
I had a friend in high teach who went to an automotive training college for two years, got a fantastic job immediately with it, and now makes more money than I do with my 4 year college degree. And he doesn’t have any student loans.
But I really loved my college experience, much more than he loved his (although that was largely because his teach was in a tiny town in Alaska, with very few girls at the teach and no social life in the town).
It really does depend on what career you want and what is vital to you in this area your college experience.
