I’m just confused right now.
I am currently 16, and taking an A+ certification course in addition to fixed high teach. It’s just so stressful, I took a TABE test, and it says I am overall on a 12th grade level (I’m in 10th grade at the moment), so I chose to leave high teach and take GED prep courses and get my GED. I should have it in in this area a week or two.
With I get my GED, I will end up my A+ Notebook Certification course. Then, I will take 2 years at a community college in the Notebook Science field. (I want to be a notebook technician / IT manager).
With all of that, I will have my college education, my certifications, and will be all done (I might grab other certifications by the side of the way).
I’m just wondering, with this education, would having a GED affect my chances of achieving a excellent job in NYC (my dream) and would it even matter if I had a high teach diploma or a GED with my college and certification education?
Thankfulness guys. I’m just confused right now.
(PS : Please don’t tell me “stay in teach don’t get a GED” because I already made my pronouncement.)

no i knew somebody who dropped out of high teach because of the stress. he earned his GED and is currently in college. GED is basically the same as high teach diploma so it wouldn’t matter

I reckon it may be best to go ahead and pursue a four year degree if you want to go into management. Sounds like you have a excellent plot, but you might just need the additional education to get you into that management position unless you have years and years of experience. Having a GED will not affect you in getting a job. What you have plotted out above sounds like it will get you into an entry level position in anticipation of you buy enough experience and or education. Hope this helps.
