You have a better opportunity of getting into a University if you have high test scores and a excellent GPA. If you end an associates degree at a community college first, and maintain a high GPA, you may have a better opportunity of getting into a university. Really, it all depends on how much demand there is for the fastidious program you want to participate in. If there are a ton of applicants, the competition is higher. If the program doesn’t fill up, your chances are much better of getting in.
You might boost your odds of getting in if you complete an internship that is correlated to the field you want to study. Talk to a counselor at the university to see what you can do to help you chances.
