Be sure you closely look at the expenditure-Kaplan will cost you thousands more. Then look at your salary as a dental help & figure out how long that will take you to pay that back. Those teach are in it for profit, and their placement can be very low. Just do your homework.

Kaplan may get you through the program quicker, but you are likely to spend years paying them back- Community Colleges cost very small. Also, you will leave the Community College with an academically-qualified Associate’s Degree, which is the first half of your four year degree. As a Dental Assistant, there’s only so far you can rise over the next 20-30 years of your work life. If you get the Community College degree, you have the option later on of getting a further degree and going into nursing or whatever else… that pays better and allows more advancement in the future.
Kaplan makes a huge profit by taking less time for the qualification, but it’s an expensive and small-sighted approach when you reckon of how huge a chunk of your salary they’ll be taking for years to pay them back, and it’s “dead-end”- the qualified Associate’s Degree takes a small longer, but in the end you save a lot of money and also have options open for your future if you choose you want them later on.
I’d certainly go with Vol State, were I in your house.
