Question by William Cube: Are community college courses like high teach ap courses?
I am a sophomore attending high teach. I’m plotting on taking psychology over the summer at a community college but what’s the magnitude of difficulty? Is it corresponding to an ap class. Also will it go on my transcript and affect my overall gpa. If so will it count on my weighted gpa just the way an ap class would?

Community college usually isn’t quite as hard as four-year college. Since an AP course in high teach can earn college credits for you (if you make a excellent grade on the AP exam), it is considered corresponding to taking a college course. In reality, many AP courses are more hard than the courses they replace in college (such as Chemistry). I would reckon that the community college course would be slightly less hard than an AP course in high teach.
You would have to question your high teach counselor in this area how it will count headed for your gpa.

I’m not an expert as I’ve never done community college, but I have a friend who has done AP Classes and is just now responsibility community college for his senior year. In his opinion, he says that it’s simpler than ap classes, and that the people at the college are kind of dumb. And AP classes at our teach are quite challenging.
So I would say community college is simpler than AP classes, but that’s just my opinion.
I can tell you from firsthand experience that community college isn’t any simpler than a four year college. I went to a four year teach, SUNY New Paltz to be exact, right out of high teach, I got straight A’s there but despised it, I transfered back to a community college to end out my sophomore year and honestly, it’s not any simpler, the expectations aren’t any lower. Just thought I’d say that since someone else seemed to feel that community college was simpler than four year.
Anyway, to answer your question, I honestly don’t feel college is much more hard than high teach. In fact, I find it simpler. Go figure.
No.
ALL JUNIOR COLLEGE COURSES are SO MUCH EASIER than high teach AP classes.
Plus… all university courses are WAYYYY simpler than AP high teach classes.
I took AP planet history in high teach, failed the class, failed the test.
Then I took the same class in college, passed with flying colors.
Now I’m nearly 18 and GRADUATING college in may.
So there you go.
