Question by Galadriel: Worried in this area the course I’m going to take this college.?
OK, so I’m already in college, taking up Nursing, but so far, I’ve been so miserable with my course because
a. I HATE it. People I know were shocked when they found out I was taking this because they know I don’t have the qualities of a excellent nurse.
b. It’s at a snail’s pace taking away all my life. I barely have any time for for myself and personally, I’d prefer Information Technology, or some course correlated to international studies.
The reason why I’m not shifting though is that my parents are forcing me to take it, pressuring me and everything, but they have no thought how much it’s at a snail’s pace killing me. They want me to take it because it’s the “safe course” one that would guarantee me a secure job, but I don’t reckon so because I don’t even like the thought of being a nurse in the first house. But I too am worried that if I take a further course, it may not give me a excellent enough job. What do you reckon I should do?

OMG switch out immediately…if you are a terrible nurse you’ll never have a job.Your parents have got to knock it off. You need to make your own pronouncement. you have to live with this the rest of your life.Please switch out …if you don’t do it for yourself at least do it for all the patients that you might have to treat…

well, it sounds a convoluted issue.
Apart from your parents pressures, r u sure of what u want to do for the rest of your life. Nursing has a profound impact in humans lives. And therefore, it is an vital profession.
Always though, it depends on what you like to do for the rest of your life. Our friends or relatives are not always our mirror. They have an thought of our inner planet but this is their understanding and it is subjective and not objective. Career choice is a private issue. You and only you can choose what you are going to do for the rest of your life. You have time to do it though.
What’s more, in case you study nursing and you become a nurse you can change your career choice. If you don’t like it and you can not stand it at all change it. But be sure that you will be lucky with your new choice.
