American Red Cross certification only lasts a year while American Heart Association lasts 2 years. In my area, AHA is the course you’ll find most everywhere. Some places have more Red Cross. As far as I know, it doesn’t matter. But, you need to take Healthcare Source CPR through AHA (not Heartsaver CPR) or for the Red Cross take the Professional Rescuer (as opposed to the fixed CPR). So not a specific source, but a specific class for a healthcare professional.
Edit - I had typed “Associate” instead of Association, so I changed it.

Most hospitals in my area require that it be from the American Heart Association. BLS for health care providers is what you need.
