no offense to anyone but i’m not comfortable item where i go to teach and where i’m transferring so that’s what the x’s and y’s are lol…anyways, we have to write a 50-100 word essy on why we want to attend this mini police training camp thing for college students. does this sound ok or how should i change it? thankfulness!
I have been taking Criminal Justice classes for three semesters through XXXX and with this semester will have completed 18 hours. But, I do not have any type of hands-on experience outside the classroom and I seldom come into friend with the police. I am transferring to YYYYYY in the fall, so this is my last opportunity to participate in this event and I would really appreciate the opportunity to learn hands-on and interact with the trainers at the academy.

You didn’t just so answer the question of why you want to go to that police training camp.
Why would you want to go? Have you anted to be a cop ever in your life? Are you curious to see what training police officers receive before striking the streets? Is part of your ultimate goal working with police officers? These are the questions you might want to question yourself when trying to answer the essay prompt because they show that you are interested in the field of law enforcement, not just going to some camp before heading off to who-knows-where.

Why I want to attend the Mini Police Training Camp
