That's something you'd study at a technical college, not a 4-year college.

Well first what kind of computer tech? I’m a software engineer and i took many math and science classes you need to get your core classes first unless you want to go to a 2 year school. Go to the local college and they will easily help you out. I can try and help but there so much fields in the computers you need to be more detail. (Software hardware ext..)
I agree Tech schools are okay if you want to just have a basic computer job. Also If you are going into more of the engineering you can certifications without even going to school such as A+ , Windows , Cisco, computer networking, By just taking a test but yet you have to study and they also offer classes. But doesn’t mean you don’t have to go to a college.
you probably have to major in computer science
so courses like
Calculus 1-3
physics for scientists and engineers
and etc etc
or major in computer information system
