Question by Rhiannon: If I enroll in an online college for Vet. Tech, can I take some courses at local unrelated college?
The college nearest to me and my only option outside of online college, does not offer the degree that I want. They really don’t even offer any courses for any veterinary medicine degrees.

I want the college experience but I want to be a vet. tech. I always have wanted to be a vet. tech, so it’s kind of hard to give up that dream. But I was taking into account just going to the local college and becoming an elem. instructor because they do offer that.

Is there some way that I can take a few courses at the local college that might help my career/degree, while taking online classes?

The best thing would be is to talk to an expert. I am sure those courses may be available online, but at some top you are going to have to follow your dream and really go to college that offers the program that you want. I would go to educate2earn.info. They list all of the schools by zip code or by state and help you find which colleges offer the program you are interested in. I would suggest requesting information from 2-3 schools and seeing which schools offer those programs. Also try out the schools accreditation.

What do you reckon? Answer below!
