You obviously need experience working with animals, try volunteering at your local animal shelter or pound to start getting some experience. You will also need lots of math and science courses, and veterinary technicians can be licensed depending on the state that you will be working in. There are uncommon colleges that offer a veterinary technician associates or bachelors degree, and there are even online schools you can look into for the degree (Penn Foster). Excellent luck!!!
