What should I study in preparation of returning to college as an adult to become a radiology tech?
Question by thatsmusic4two: What should I study in preparation of returning to college as an adult to become a radiology tech?
I attended a parochial teach for 8 grades with which I obtained my GED. Now, over 10 years later, I want to become a radiology tech. Several local colleges offer the program, but I’m going to have to study for my SAT/ACT before I can apply for them. Meanwhile, I want to start taking correlated courses at my local community college. I would appreciate your opinions as to which courses I may possibly be working on. Would biology, math, or algebra be a excellent introduction to the field? I have a job at a health check clinic as dr’s assistant/personnel assistant, and I’m going to keep working at the clinic part time while going to college, so I may end up taking an extra year or two at completing the radiology studies. But like I said, I won’t be able to enter college in anticipation of I’ve completed my SAT/ACT, although i want to start studying. What do you recommend I study?

try out with the admissions personnel of one or more of the schools you want to attend…follow their advice since they know best.
