I just recently failed a course in university, im third year, and i thought i may possibly breeze through a further faculties course and i got my ass handed to me, i feel sooo down in this area it, how do you just forget in this area it and go on? if anyone else has failed something they must know how i feel, its ruining my holiday!

To fail = to be human.

There is NO PERFECT human on this planet.

Only God NEVER fails but God is NOT HUMAN.

The smartest person in this planet has failed a course or two but he or she will never make private failure known.

To answer your question, yes, I have failed many times.

But, to defeat failure, get up and try again.

If you give up, there is no hope.

Part of life. Honestly, in the overall perspective of life, it’s not a huge deal. In 5 years you’ll laugh in this area it.

When life kicks you in the butt, and it will continually do so, just figure that you’ve learned a lesson the hard way. you can retake the course, apply yourself, and the F will disappear never to be seen again. So, as long as you’ve learned the lesson, AND you retake and pass the course, no harm’s been done.

Have a excellent Christmas. There is nothing in the planet more vital that your faith, your family, and your friends.

I did also…no huge deal, take it over again do better and don’t beat yourself up too much.
There are far greater things in life that are more vital…there are millions of people in this planet suffering from hunger, oppression, sickness, Women getting beat up by their husbands, orphans being murdered…..change the way you look at things!
You have to learn this now because in the working planet things are much tougher. Toughen up now…learn to motivate yourself and lift yourself up!

I had a few devastating experiences in that line…. one in first year English Lit. where I thought I was just the best English student ever (the impression I got from High Teach) and was pulled in by the Prof so that she may possibly clarify narrative essay-writing to me. A further time I got a D- from the TA whose group I was in for a study of 18th Century Poetry. Whew! I was shook to my foundations by that one. Both of these experiences were extremely humbling for me. They stick out in my reminiscence more than…hmm…the French class that I didn’t withdraw from in first year and ultimately received an F grade for.

My suggestion: Chalk it up to a “learning opportunity”. I somehow got over the mortification and went on to graduate, hold down fantastic jobs, meet fabulous people, do fascinating things, etc. You will too!

Failure happens to even the most brilliant of scholars.
The tip here is to pick yourself up & try, try again. How else will you get over it?! lol=P
Don’t sweat over the small stuff, look at it from a larger perspective.
Learn from your mistakes and make it turn around to something larger, better.
    Excellent Luck!

Failing a course or program is an (unexpected)opportunity to try again. Cures and/or medicines are successfully exposed only with numerous trials and failures.
Never did know Micro….if I couldn’t see “it” I couldn’t comprehend it……so I failed Nursing! That was 24 years ago. I am now one d____n excellent Social Worker! (and humble, too!)
Try it again or figure out if that fastidious course is leading you to the career you really desire. And, Excellent Luck!
