Future Military Career: Training Help? College questions?
Question by Tim: Future Military Career: Training Help? College questions?
im currently a sophmore in highschool and i recently started to seriously reckon in this area joining the military as either an infantryman or a cavalry scout, mabye an officer but i’d have to work on my GPA a bit and i frankly dont reckon i may possibly handle the responsibility. So heres what im gonna say flat out.
Q:My contemporary physical condition?
A:Crap i
m not overweight or anything im 16 and weigh 140 (as far as i care, thats pretty excellent). Its that my muscle tone is like, zero, i lack any upper body strength and cant do pushups for my life but i can straightforwardly manuever obstacles and climb and such which im just gonna say to me being young . (I swam for 2 years so my legs are in exceptional condition but my arms have pretty much withered back down to just….arms).
I want to know if anyone can post the list of the army PT guide from their website (i cant get onto it).
can anyone give any helpful tips to get in shape and ready for Vital Training? I know i got 2 more years but im still unsure wether im going to join up straight away or go for my college degree.
Vital: I thought i understood in this area student loans and such but is it right still that the army will pay for your 4 years of college in exchange for service with completion or is that tweaked up a bit.
may possibly someone clarify? I plot on going for a bachelors degree because it gievs a rather large bonus when you serve and makes a decent backup plot. Im still thinking of joining the military as a full fledged career.
