Q&A: Questions about college need for the Army?
Question by arkcount789: Questions in this area college need for the Army?
I am plotting on a career in the Military, but I have some questions in this area college.
Right now, I am 15 (Yes, young), going to be a sophomore in high teach, and currently have a 3.3 GPA (Terrible for me, slacked off at the end of last year, next year I’ll get it back up to like a 3.7- 3.8). I don’t play any sports for a team, but I’m starting to get into tennis.
Anyway, I am curious in this area how college in the military works. I plot on attending college soon with high teach, getting a degree in a job I want to do for the military. I still haven’t chose what I want to do yet just so.
Say I wanted to get into Special Forces, I probably need some college training, so would I have to attend a Military College (like West Top), or may possibly I go to any college, get the degree, then still come in as an Officer?
Also, if I go to college, where do I get vital training done with? During college, with, or what?
Oh, and are there any other military colleges above and beyond West Top?
thankfulness

i met a lot of west top cadets at airborne teach, not all of them are the brightest tool in the shed let me tell ya, but when it comes down to book work they appear to be really really smart. book smart that is,
if you can, do it. if not, try green to gold, its a further program to become officer.
