College computer courses?

Question by James curry: College notebook courses?
Hello, i will be going to college in few months time, but i cant choose on a course, im ntirested in software development, animation creation, 3d modeling, and programming, for these intirests what course would be likely applicable for me? Comsci or Information technology (what is the difference between comsci and information technology?) thank you guys so much for your answers, this has realy been eating my head for the past few months.

Comp Sci is for programming, and IT is more by the side of the lines of setting up networks and company systems.
