I need help with College?

Hello I am currently in first year college and have just refined my first semester. My course is BS-It (information technology) my heart is set at going abroad most likely in canada or australia. My dad told me that it would be better if i took a course that is more business oriented. There is a course called Bs-Is (information systems) this course focuses on managing information and using computers to improve business, it also involves managing businesses and assets.

Problem is that that i dont know what courses are in demand in canada and australia. If i shift to Bs-Is or any other business correlated course i might be making a huge mistake and miss my opportunity of getting a stable job abroad. Ive been researching on the internet on ideal courses that will provide you with a stable job with graduation and so far Information Technology is one of the highest rankers.

May possibly you guys give me some insights on what course would give me a more stable job?

continue your bs it course. focus on your field of expertise like servers or programming, etc. then take certifications while attending college like microsoft certification. take freelance projects to enhance your skills. with enough certifications, experience, excellent grades and recommendations, you’ll surely get a excellent job in canada or australia. but make sure to pass ielts so be prepared for the ielts as well.
