There are literally thousands of softball high teach prospects each and every year striving to make it to the college level. Believe me, the competition is fierce and the talent level at the college level is very high. If you have ever gone out and seen a college softball game at any level, you know what I mean.

I know first hand just how hard it is for softball high teach prospects to make it to the college level. There was a young lady who grew up only a couple of miles from me who was an outstanding player. In fact, she dominated boys baseball in the area in anticipation of she was thirteen or so. She had an awesome prep career, yet she was not solidly recruited out of high teach. She finished up signing with a junior college and then had an opportunity to go on to Division I softball her junior year.

With her talent level, I used to wonder why in the planet she was not recruited solidly out of teach.

With being caught up in the recruiting process years later, I now know why. Apparently, there was no one helping her to market and promote herself to college coaches.

In a perfect planet, all softball high teach prospects would be recruited for college if they had the talent and ability to play at that level. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect planet. Sometimes, very excellent players just simply glide under the radar of college coaches. When that happens, there is only way to fix the problem and make sure the athlete gets the attention she deserves: Make direct friend with college coaches.

If you are one of the thousands of softball high teach prospects hoping to make it to the college level, make a commitment right now to do the following:

1- Develop an athletic resume
2- Choose what level of college softball is right for you
3- Mail your resume to college coaches
4- Stay in friend with the coaches

Softball high teach prospects from around the country are competing for spots on college rosters. Give yourself a huge advantage by marketing and promoting yourself!
