Question by M P A: Open University courses. Is it impossible to do courses with them if you don’t have a notebook or T.V?
At the moment I have both but will shortly have neither. I am moving house and have chose to have neither of these things but wonder if there is still a way to do a course with the Open University. Does anyone know or has anyone here at Y.A. ever done one?
I really want to avoid the expense of a T.V. license AND the expense of having Broadband. As you suggest, I may possibly try the store. I’ll need to find out how many hours I’d be allowed to ensure that I may possibly do it properly. Thankfulness for the suggestion.

It can be a challenge but when my Mom took away my laptop, I went to the store.

But as a student I suggest getting a laptop. Acer Aspires are reliable, cheap, but not fantastic in the weight department.

You can live without TV. But not a notebook.
