Question by Hello Cow How Are You?: Can I work full time and take college courses at night?
I have to work my way through college.

I was wondering if it’s possible to work full time during the day, and then take my college classes at night.

I want to be a veterinarian and will start college straight out of high teach.

My parents are buying my car, but they’re making me foot the college bill.
That is SO excellent to hear. $ 18,000 on minimum wage 40 hours a week sounds SO much better than $ 9,000 part time.

Yes, you can do that, but you’ll need to find a college that offers all the classes you need at night - that’s not many - and it will be hard to find night labs as well for all the science classes you’ll need to take. Vet teach is even more competitive to enter than med teach, so you’ll need to do VERY well in college while working full time - chances aren’t excellent.

night labs are not a problem to find. I had several. Some of the classes in upper levels may not be available at night. I would look into jobs that will work around your class schedule. Several places that hire college students do.

Yeah, I am in college and I know some people who work during the day and then come for the evening classes.
