Question by Pad: Is IT Network Handing out Certification from the community college worth it?
I cannot choose between the above and Paralegal certification, Please help.

I’ve known several people who have been to teach for networking within the last 5yrs and currently work for various jobs that pay minimum-higher pay jobs having nothing to do with what they went to teach for. My suggestion to you is question the teach what their job placement percentage is for that area of study they offer. Also, try to get your feet wet with it now which will help you out if you’re really interested. Sadly, it was such an advertised hyped up job that it became overloaded with people and most businesses have gone over-seas.

It all boils down to your college’s accreditation. And in a field such as IT, you would be wise to network with other IT associates. I am telling you this from experience, an associates degree is in this area as valid and a high teach diploma these days. Employers want someone who has a BA or in this area 4-10 years experience. At least that’s what it’s like in my area.
