Question by Totally Isolated: Is Illinois the only US State that is not in the NCAA tournament?
Northwestern has never made the NCAA Tournament
Northern Illinois Didnt make it
Illinois State failed to make it
Southern Illinois Didnt make it
Depaul of course didnt make it because they are the worst team in the big east
and of course Illinois because they are the worst NCAA school

How is Illinois "the worst NCAA school"?
They beat Mich St, Wisconsin (twice), Clemson, Vandy, and they are 21-14 now.
They are in the NIT as a #1 seed.
They have one of the top recruiting classes coming in next season with Meyers Leonard, Jereme Richmond, and Crandle Head (If you don't believe me just look these player's highlights up on Youtube).
They will be a top 25 team next year.

I’m fairly sure no Alaskan school has made the NCAA Tourney. So you have company,
alaska, alabama, arizona, hawaii, Illinois, N Dakota, S Dakota, ………

But interesting if you look at Kentucky and the 8 states that border it - Illinois is the only one that did not make it.

neither has my state of New Jersey, Maine, Delaware, Rhode Island, South Dakota, North Dakota and I can give a few more if I thought about it
