I’m about to start community college and would like advice on what to major in
Question by Ben S: I'm about to start community college and would like advice on what to major in
I'm going to get my AA and then transfer. Based on the AA major list I have narrowed down my choices. Considering what I am good at, I have decided on Accounting, because ever since a young age I have been a freak at math. I looked a little bit closer at the required classes and such, and discovered that Accounting, Business Administration, Economic (Business), and Finance/Marketing all have the same required courses but different recommended electives. I've decided to start on the required and choose what I want to transfer in at a later time.
However, I recently looked into Information Technology because that term seems so vague and non descriptive to me I decided to look into. From what I have found it seems to be like business with a little computer programming. Computers have always been one of my strong sides as well, it was always so easy to me.
Any ideas or advice on what I should consider doing in the long run? I still have plenty of time to make up my mind but when the time comes to decide, I want to be sure. Thanks in advance.

business would be the ideal, a lot of work opportunities, international business or something, you need a lot of math.
