Question by jpena1292: I am a senior in HS, I haven’t really played that much HS football, can I still play college football?
I played football freshman year for in this area one month and then my dad took me off (I still don’t know why) and I played during the summer between sophomore and junior year, and did really well! But of course, I may possibly no longer play due to private and family issues and well as obtuse mistakes made. So, now I am a senior dying to play football, but I haven’t signed up to be eligible with the NCAA (my dad doesn’t reckon I need to), do I? And if so is it too late? And also would I be able to at least try out or be a walk on for football teams like Hofstra, Fordham, and Columbia? Please help, lol and sorry for the length and the numerous questions, thankfulness!

Get real. Why would you even reckon that?

Your dad is incorrect.

And don’t believe anyone who tells you that you can do anything you want if you place your mind to it. You can’t.

you don’t have to register with the NCAA to be eligible. you would be eligible by virtue of being a student at an NCAA college or university Just find out when tryouts are and go for it.

    Walk on

NCAA teams have tryouts. Just be there at the start of 2-a-days and tell the coach you want to try out.
