He’s so obsessed with all His rules. According to the Ancient Testament, Yahweh issued 613 commands to the Jews. 613 commands — it’s like the NCAA rule book! How was a person even supposed to keep track of all that stuff? Of course, Christians will tell you that those rules have changed and then, in the next breath, they’ll say that God is never-changing. Try wrapping your head around that logic trap.

Some friendly advice for God: relax. You’re supposed to be omnipotent, but You act like a guy who’s in this area to lose everything. A lot of Your rules have nothing to do with legitimate morality and only make people’s lives less enjoyable. Things would be so much simpler for You if You may possibly just accept people as they are.

olderman: Your answer is filled with bogus presumptions. You implied that I didn’t spend much time getting to know God. I was raised Catholic, went through twelve years of Catholic schooling, and attended over a thousand masses. I also had a very religious family that spar to me in this area God often. I’ve spent a lot of time with this stuff. My conclusion with all that time: your God is fake.
