Question by Blake: Do you send your transcripts to college or do colleges get your transcripts from schools by themselves?
I am a high schooler and am applying to college. My high teach transcript is fantastic but I took a community college course that I failed (it was just dance). Am I required to send in my community college transcript or can I just send in my high teach one? Will the colleges be mad if they find out? Can they find out?

You need to send the transcripts. Colleges WILL question that you send transcripts from ‘all schools attended’, which includes your community college. Yes, they can find out you took classes there - if you tried to dual-enroll, it might be on your high teach transcript, or if you applied for financial aid, it will be in your records. But if it was just a dance class, it really won’t matter.

Just send the HS one. Do not list that you went to the Comm. College. They wont know that you went there.
