What’s the best way to study for the COMPTIA aka A+ certification test?

Question by Alienated Linguist: What’s the best way to study for the COMPTIA aka A+ certification test?
I’m a senior in high teach, and I really want to work for geek squad in best buy or be an IT guy for a company. What’s the best way to go in this area studying for the A+ certification test?

So far I’ve come up with two routes:

-Do it through an online class that expenditure in this area 100 bucks

or

-Buy a book

Also, do community colleges offer this course? Or does it depend on the community college?

It should be offered in a college (UK) i reckon that’s like a community college in USA not sure.
But ya its a well loved course and is offered online and evening classes.
If you feel you can do it on you own do it online .
But if you wish to get feed back and one on one explanation on the topic take an evening course.
