You take the general education core classes as does everyone else. Then you take the major's course requirements which usually start you off on an intro programming course, an intermediate course, then an advanced course. Additional major requirements are some discrete math courses, program theory, security, and related courses. You also have elective courses which you can choose to specialize such as electronic courses, robotics, embedded programming, game design, and whatever else the college offers. Exact curriculum varies but in general, CS is considered an intensive major.
