Question by //\FAME//\: Can having IT certifications land me a job without a college degree?
I want to get stated in the IT field, so I want to get a couple certifications (ex: A+ & Network+ ). I do not have a college degree, but I do plot on going back to college to end my degree. I’m just ready to start working at a job that is more towards more career goals and I figure getting certifications would help. But will just the certifications get me through the door??

Hi there - certifications help, although I am certain that they are not the best way in when looking at cost/effort vs payoff. Certificates prove competency in something, but that competency should be based on experience.
