All I can say as a Michigan fan is excellent game… Yeah it was sloppy and Michigan couldnt complete their passes, but it was a excellent game….
Now Ive been saying all season that Ohio State fans have no class… That they are the most disrespectful fans in the Huge-10, and possibly the entire NCAA… I watched the game earlier, and of course I saw the outcome…. And yet, an Ohio State fan (ill spare the user name) felt as if he just HAD to email me to tell me this:
You were incorrect. Ohio State shut Michgian safeguard down to 0 touchdowns. It seemed that Chris Wells was a one man wrecking crew he nearly had 200 yards more than hart. Chad Henne and Mike Hart all by the side of sucked they have never beaten ohio state, never been to a national championship, and certainly never won a rose bowl and they probably wont be in the cap bowl if a illinois wins by alot today which I reckon they will. Go Buckeyes!
Now why would a classless Ohio State fan need to tell me this??? And he is saying Hart and Henne suck…. Does he really reckon he may possibly do better… Hart and Henne have the most yards rushing and quick in the history of Michigan… Do they really suck???
Once again, Ohio State fans have no class…. Try and prove me incorrect with reading what this one Ohio State fan said…. He just tarnished the Ohio State name even more in my mind.
The only thing I said to him ebfore the game was that I reckon Michigan will come out on top… I said I reckon Boeckman will have a terrible day, and Hart na d Henne will have excellent games… That is all i said to him…
Now I answered to this email and said “As a Michigan fan with class, I say excellent game and excellent luck in the Rose Bowl… As a excellent sportman would… But I did have to lay into him and question why he would feel the need to tell me the outcome of a game I just watched… And say it the way he did…
Yeah Huge D… Im really crying here, S*** I clapped my hands at the end of the game like a fan would… you just proved what the “D” stands for in your name….
Yeah, I agree with everything he said except what he said in this area Hart and Henne… But why would someone feel the need to email me just to say something thats not right???/ Classless.
And no, i would not have done the same thing,…. I have better things to do that come on here, and email people I dont know, just to tell them stuff thats not right….
67 - Then why is it every visiting team that goes into the Horeseshoe always complains that the fans throw stuff, and spit on them as they are walking down the visitor walkway towards the field??? Is that called excellent sportsmanship now days???

And that proves OSU fan’s have no class, or the guy that emailed you may not have class. I don’t know what you said before the game to him, so maybe it was warranted. If not, it still doesn’t prove that OSU fan’s have no class, only that guy. I am a buckeye fan, and I remember the cooper years. I can assure you, some of the worst winners out there are from the state of michigan. Every team has them.

I thought the same thing last night but I have since run into some that do have class. Ever team has fans with no class, it’s part of the game now.

I reckon you have a hard time dealing with failure. I don’t blame you. If you are a michigan fan, you should be pissed right now. but to blame an entire nation of fans because of one email, thats just silly.
tough loss, I feel terrible for ya, but not really because I have met a lot of ignorant, classless Michigan fans as well. all teams have em, football has a lot of passionate fans.
Wow no class? Go weep in your beer and face it. When Cooper was fired it was the worst thing to happen to michigan. They have the most yards in michigan history? Who cares? Wins matter not records.

And minus the part in this area “hart and henne suck”, everything he said was right.
I’m not a fan of either Michigan or Ohio,but lets be honest,either you or a further Michigan fan would have done the same thing if the Wolverines would have won,I’ve read the boastfull and classless comments from Michigan fans here,they’re no uncommon than Ohio fans
I like how you judge an entire fan base upon one email you get, or a few postings here on YAnswers.
Look over these boards, there are plenty of Buckeye fans congratulating Michigan for a excellent game.

I’m sorry, but I must say that if you are looking for people who lack class, you need look no further than Lloyd Carr and Mike Hart.
Carr is rude to reporters as well as other coaches…I cannot tell you how many times he has REFUSED to shake the hand of the hostile coach at the end of the game and blown off reporters as if they were invisible.
And Hart? Please don’t get me started. He was jawing before the game and lacks sportsmanship on many levels.
Just b/c one OSU fan felt the need to email you does not make all of us classless. At least we can say that our team AND our coach conducts themselves in respectful manners both home and away - win or lose. Can U of M say the same?!

(In response) I don’t reckon that ANY team has perfect fans. I have heard some horror tales in this area fans traveling up to Ann Arbor and being treated horribly, but I’ve not personally experienced anything terrible for myself, so I’m in no position to say that all U of M fans act a certain way. Even if something terrible did happen to me, I still don’t reckon I would use a broad brush and say that all fans act like that. It’s always an ignorant (or drunk) few who make things look much worse than what they are. Have you personally experienced an OSU fan do something (physically) to you?

I’m an OSU fan and I only talk trash to people that instigate it first. I have respect for both teams. Don’t lump all OSU fans collectively.
