Honestly… I never figured out how one studies for the ACT/SAT. It’s all material you ought to know and use on a fixed basis. I never studied for either of them and did better than a lot of my classmates who had parents spending hundreds of dollars on the ACT/SAT prep courses.
I was always pretty laid back during my senior year. I never altered my study habits, or my social habits. I got into my first choice teach and started with 11 credit hours thankfulness to the AP exams.
So my advice would be to relax a small. Don’t slack off, but relax.

I just refined my freshman yr at UCSB and my best advice would be START NOW! I know it’s summer and all but trust me that if you study some now you will save yourself a whole lot of stress in the fall!!!!!! Buy an SAT and ACT prep book with practice tests from a book store and books for subject tests if you have to take those. Do some tests to find your weak spots so you know what to study more. Read up on tricks/tips in books and on the internet and research strategies (because excellent ones really are out there)! Start your essay as soon as the prompt is up online! Keep a schedual and calendar too keep track of it all! Also, have a million people proof read your essay- even question your english instructor
