Question by whumppy: How long does it take to get an EMT-I and EMT-P (Paramedic) certification?
I am taking the EMT-Basic course which lasts 2 years. I would like to go to college for only 2 years, but I also want to be a certified Paramedic once I get out of college. I was wondering how long it will take to get both EMT-I cert. and EMT-P cert. How long they will take separately, and if I will probably have to take the Paramedic course after college.
