Faculty of Technology, University of Delhi conducts Delhi engineering entrance exam for budding engineers of Delhi who aspire to join Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) and Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), two flattered technical institutions of Delhi. Under the faculty of Technology, DCE offer Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in the disciplines such as Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, assembly and Industrial, Notebook, Polymer Science and Chemical Technology, ecological, Information Technology, and Bio-Technology.

IIT Delhi provides engineering education in Electronics and Communication, Notebook, Instrumentation and Control, Manufacturing Process and Automation, Information Technology, and Bio-Technology. There is 15 percent reservation for the applicants of DCE/NSIT from outside Delhi region (Outside National Capital Territory of India). These applicants are shortlisted on All India Merit Basis taking into account their AIEEE scores in the year of application. Delhi engineering entrance exam is eligibility Criteria For CEE, candidates should have passed 10+2 or the qualifying examination, with minimum 60 percent aggregate, of any standard university (should be located in National Capital Territory of India) in 2008 or 2007 or should be appearing in 2009. The qualify examination may possibly be Senior Teach Certificate Examination (SSCE) of the Inner Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi Indian Teach Certificate Examination (12-year Course) of the Council for Indian Teach Certificate Examination, New Delhi B.Sc. (General) Group ‘A’ Closing assessment or corresponding examination of the Delhi University B.Sc. (H) Examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of the Delhi University with grouping of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and equal weightage to the subsidiary subjects or corresponding examination.

Any other examination recognized as corresponding to the Senior Teach Certificate Examination of the CBSE by the Delhi University Applicants must have passed English at 10 or 10+2 level to be eligible while applying for CEE. Applicants must be minimum 17 years of age on or before the first of October in the year of application for CEE. At the time of admission, only the candidates who have the endorsement of Vice-Chancellor are given one-year repose. Structure of the Exam CEE is three hours’ duration exam, which comprises of multiple choice questions and covers Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics as per the standard of SSCE (CBSE).The sale of submission forms and bulletin start in March each year with CEE being conducted at the end of May and consequences being declared with the following two weeks of the exam.
