Question by SNL (sat night live): You know how in college you get to choose your whole schedule of classes, is that possible in high schools?
Instead of telling the kids which classes they should take during each year why not let them choose with classes to take every year and instead of having mandatory lunch and recess hours why not let them choose when to have those hours according to their schedule.

Basically copy the college system into high schools is that legal and is it a good idea?

It is a good idea in concept, but in practice it may not work out so well. I actually would love this, but it would be difficult. In highschool, people tend to be cliquey. There would be 40 people trying to get into one class, just because their friends are in it. It is easier for the teachers, and frankly, less complicated because the guidance counselors arrange all of that.

It’s a good idea though, and I would love it. I know that I would give myself first period free every single morning, haha.
