I need help choosing one Computer Technology class for Fall semester!?
Question by Swedishboy: I need help choosing one Notebook Technology class for Fall semester!?
I enrolled in the Notebook Technology Associate program with a concentration in Notebook Information Systems at a technical college and I start this fall. But I have one extra slot and have chose on choosing a class on computers but need help alternative one that would be beneficial for the degree. Which one from the three below should I choose? Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thankfulness!
CPT 104 Introduction to Information Technology
This course is a study of vital notebook components and peripherals, vital notebook functions, I/O concepts, storage concepts, data communications, distributed processing and programming language concepts.
CPT 113 Information Systems
This course is an introduction of the principles and technologies used in modern management information systems.
CPT 209 Notebook Systems Managment
This course examines the methods and procedures used in maintaining microcomputer systems. Topics include hardware and software installation, configuration, operations and troubleshooting.

What is it that you want to do when you graduate? Which teach is it so I can look at the syllabus?
Personally, I would take the CPT 104 because unless you are physically fixing broken computers you will likely end up responsibility at a minimum some very vital Windows / Bash scripting in your future career.

It depends on what you want to do build computers or help others solve their notebook problems. The first two will tell you how computers work and how they store info on the notebook. The last one will tell you how to fix notebook problems in hardware and software.
