Question by adimt: How do I enter into the field of SAP/ERP without spending a fortune on the training courses?
I want to make a career in SAP FICO module especially. How do I enter the field? I am ready to learn it at home with the help of online material and self study. What are the resources online?
I really don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on training courses.

Well you need access to the system. Try this website:

http://www.michaelmanagement.com/

Then you need to know all the FICO courses. Get the codes from:

http://www.sap.com/trainingcatalog

Then download the manuals searching by their codes either via:

http://www.yahoo.com

http://www.google.com

or Rapidshare or those search engines will take you to them.

It helps if you know basic book keeping but don’t need to be a fully qualified accountant to learn FICO.

But Overall you learn far more on a project than studying SAP
